Join your Beth Sholom community and musical guest Lior Ben-Hur as we say goodbye to Shabbat and kick off a new week with the Havdalah ritual! Dinner will be served, music will be played and the evening will culminate with a fire, marshmallow roasting and sweet community BUILDing! Lior's Bio - Lior Ben-Hur is a performing artist, composer, and award-winning educator, born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. After relocating to the Bay Area in 2004, he created engaging music programs for all ages, which led to his receiving the national Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award in 2013 for his innovative approach to education. Lior's band, Sol Tevél, has released three studio albums. Their Reggae album, So I Wander, debuted at #14 on the Billboard charts in 2017. Their music frequently presents a fresh interpretation of traditional Jewish texts and ideals. In addition to his creative pursuits, Lior founded Music by Heart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to music education, and currently serves as the Music Director at Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos, CA.
